Questions buyers ask first
What does TasteRay sell to companies?
TasteRay sells a recommendation API, a product-page widget called ForMe, and Enterprise terms for large operators. The API returns ranked picks, each with a match score and a written reason. Enterprise adds custom AI trained on your content, white-label delivery, an SLA, dedicated support, analytics and custom limits.
Do we need training data to start with TasteRay?
No training data is needed to start. The self-serve API reasons from whatever context each request carries, such as a sentence from the viewer and a list of your titles. Enterprise can also train on your content when a large operator wants the engine shaped by what it holds.
How much does the TasteRay API cost?
The self-serve API has a free tier with 1,000 requests a month, Basic at $49 a month with 10,000 requests, and Pro at $199 a month with 100,000 requests. Enterprise pricing is custom and covers higher limits, an SLA and dedicated support. Prices were checked on 5 November 2026.
