Questions about streaming availability

How current is the streaming availability shown here?

Each page carries the date it was last checked in the byline at the top. Licensing changes without notice, sometimes monthly, so read the table as accurate on that date rather than guaranteed today. Where a title has a single permanent home, that placement rarely moves.

Why does availability differ from one country to another?

Because rights are sold territory by territory. A studio can license a series to one service in the United States and a different one in Germany, or hold it back entirely in a third market. That is why every page lists countries separately instead of naming one platform.

What if it isn't streaming anywhere near me?

Then the page's watch-next list is the point. Each one names titles that deliver the same thing the unavailable title would have, chosen on tone and effect rather than genre. Renting is often the only legal option for older films, and the page says when that applies.
